Bennett Jones was born in 1791 to Thomas and Mary. He was baptised at Boldre church on 1st May 1791.
Fanny Bundy was born in 1796 to Thomas and his wife. She was baptised at Beaulieu church on 17th November 1796.
Aged just 21, she was one of the 20 founding members of East Boldre Baptist church who left the Baptist church in Lymington to set up this new independent church in 1817.
Fanny and Bennett were married on 8th April 1822 at Beaulieu church. The had a daughter, Charlotte, in 1830.
Bennett died in 1829 and we have no record, other than his headstone, of his burial at the chapel as this pre-dates the surviving burial register. His is one of the earliest known burials in the chapel graveyard.
The 1841 and 1851 censuses shows Fanny and Charlotte living together in Beaulieu Rails with Fanny working as a school mistress.
Charlotte married John Kilford in 1855 and the 1861 census shows Fanny (65) living with John and Charlotte in Rumbridge, Eling.
Fanny died on 13th November 1865 and was buried at the chapel on 19th November 1865 by the Rev John Bartlett Burt.
